What a fun weekend in Texas! I played a concert Saturday night with Texarkana Symphony and Sandi Patty (I still really have no clue who she is. Seriously though, NO CLUE)! Some of the music was fun and we had a couple new cellists in the section. Sunday, Emerald Piano Trio presented Beethoven "Ghost" Trio and Mendelssohn Trio in d minor. The program sounded great and there was a somewhat decent turnout (About 30 people...being generous...). I had an absolute blast performing these pieces. It was my first performance of this Beethoven, and it is such a neat work. The second movement literally gives me goosebumps. *Pictured here with Diana Norwood, violin, and Jim Broussard, Marvin United Methodist Music Director. Thanks so much to Marvin United Methodist Church for hosting our ensemble!
